The Stickers Protocol operates through a generational programmed issuance mechanism for its Stickers, being associated with an issuer, plays a pivotal role in how digital stickers are distributed and managed within the ecosystem, outlined by the following key features:
Generational Mechanism: Stickers are released in batches known as generations. The first generation starts with 100 items, with each subsequent generation doubling the quantity of stickers issued from the previous one. This scheme promotes transparency and scarcity in the sticker distribution.
Quantity Increase: The quantity of stickers doubles with each new generation, ensuring a clear progression in the availability and collectability of these digital assets.
Incentives for Early Participants: To encourage early participation and maintain a healthy protocol, owners of stickers from the generation immediately preceding receive the new generation's stickers at no cost. This ensures that a portion of the total supply for each new generation is reserved for them, adding value to the earlier generations.
Auction Opportunity: Those without stickers from the previous generation have the opportunity to acquire them through an auction for the new generation. This allows new participants to enter the ecosystem.
This system not only rewards early participation and maintains interest in digital sticker collecting but also effectively manages scarcity and value over time, creating a dynamic and sustainable ecosystem.
Each issuer can have only one instance of a specific generation, preventing duplicate generations.

Multi-Generation Releases: An issuer has the flexibility to launch several generations at once, without a limit on the number of generations. This means that an issuer can introduce multiple new sets of stickers, each belonging to a different generation, simultaneously to the market.
